Well-established private practice in the Holly Springs is seeking a Full-time Optometric Technician to join our team. Duties
- Support and assist the doctor
- Exam room setup
- Performing patient pretesting including: auto-refraction, visual fields, retinal imaging, IOP, OCT screening and OCT extended tests.
- Patient education about proper care and handling of contact lenses
- Train patients on contact lens insertion and removal techniques
- Placing, receiving and tracking contact lens orders
- Various administrative duties including but not limited to chart preparation, answering phone calls, data entry, greeting patients
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills
- Professional appearance
- Be detailed oriented
- Must have the ability to work efficiently
- Must be reliable in attendance
- EMR experience a plus
- Bilingual a plus
