What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cannabis Farmer position at Rugged Roots?
Rugged Roots is a Veteran owned cultivation facility that is looking for motivated and reliable cultivators that are looking to learn in a fast pace environment and ever growing industry. Must be 21 to apply. Must have reliable transportation and drivers license. Must be willing to work at Auburn or Portland location.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Working alongside team members to complete daily tasks set by cultivation manager.
- Being able and willing to work long and flexible hours to ensure the job is done.
- Being able to meet physical requirements of the job at hand, such as lifting upwards to 50 pounds and being on your feet for long periods of time.
- Assisting in cloning and transplanting, watering and feeding, monitoring plants and climate control.
- Assisting in harvesting as well as de-leafing. Harvesting includes taking down anywhere from 60 upwards to 600 plants in one rotation. Including Medical and Recreational plants.
- Working together as a team to complete daily goals as well as being able to communicate effectively with one another.
- Ensure daily compliance with policies and procedures including but not limited to; state compliance and security protocols.
- Being able to keep a positive and productive work ethic while working in a fast pace environment.
