Job Summary:
As a Human Resources Analyst, you will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, interpreting and delivering human resources data to help inform decision-making and improve organizational effectiveness. In addition, you will also be responsible for designing and developing user interfaces that are intuitive and user-friendly, in order to enhance the user experience for HR systems and tools. A key expectation is collaboration and establishment of positive relationships with onboarding, payroll, talent acquisition, benefits teams, and is critical to ensuring positive customer (new hire, employee and manager) experiences. A drive to deliver superior customer service, strong teamwork, and personal accountability to meet or exceed, SLAs, and individual goals and performance metrics is critical to success.
Responsibilities:
- Collect and analyze HR data from various sources, such as HRIS, performance management and various talent management systems
- Develop and maintain HR analytics dashboards and reports that provide insights on key HR metrics and trends
- Interpret data, analyze results, and provide ongoing reporting to HR leaders and business partners
- Collaborate with HR teams to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for process improvements and organizational change
- Develop predictive models to forecast future trends and help guide HR strategy
- Design and develop user interfaces that are intuitive and user-friendly, in order to enhance the user experience for HR systems and tools
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and improve the functionality of HR systems and tools
- Partner with IT and other stakeholders to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security
- Provide training and support to HR teams on HR data analysis tools and techniques, as well as on the use of HR systems and tools
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in HR data analysis and user interface design
- Understands processes and protocols for when to escalate inquiries or concerns on matters related to data input and management to support a positive customer experience.
- Looks for process improvement opportunities to improve personal and operational effectiveness and customer experience. Proposes recommendations to the Director, Employee Information Management, as applicable.
- Participates as a team member to ensure a customer-focused, high-performance and inclusive work environment.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or relevant work experience
- 2 years of experience in data analysis or a related field, preferably in an HR setting
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, such as SQL, Excel, and statistical software (e.g., R, SAS, SPSS)
- Knowledge of HR processes and systems, such as HRIS, performance management and various talent management software solutions
- Experience designing and developing user interfaces for web-based applications, using tools such as Tableau, Figma, or Adobe XD preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends and patterns in complex data sets
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences, as well as to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for creating user-centered designs that are intuitive and user-friendly
