Position Summary:

A construction Project Estimator/Manager is responsible for overseeing the estimation and planning of construction projects and will work closely with Operations Management to ensure the project is executed according to the project plan. This role plays a crucial role in maintaining strong relationships with customers, ensuring that construction projects are completed within budget and in compliance with relevant regulations and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review bid requests, prepare estimates, and project plans for execution of the bid
  • Manage customer communication and changes to bid packages and subsequent change orders
  • Coordinate with operations management to ensure effective execution of the project plan
  • Create and monitor project budgets, including cost estimation, tracking expenses, and ensuring that projects are completed within allocated budgetary limits
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive project documentation
  • Regularly monitor the progress of construction projects, ensuring that milestones are met and that any delays or issues are addressed promptly and effectively
  • Provide effective leadership and guidance to the project team, fostering a positive work environment and ensuring that team members are motivated and equipped to perform their roles effectively

Experience, Qualifications & Education:

  • Minimum of five (5) years of related experience required
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Postsecondary certificate or an associates degree in any weldingrelated field preferred
  • Valid Driver's License required
  • Ability to use Excel, Microsoft Project, Procore, Net Suite required
  • Preferred experience with marine industry
  • Strong problemsolving skills to resolve an issue that arises with projects

Salary: $75,000 - $95,000 (Annually)
