Job Title: Senior Director, Site Lead
Saab seeks a visionary and results-driven leader to oversee the establishment of our new Land Systems Manufacturing Facility. Based in Vanderbilt, MI, or planned location in Detroit, MI area, this position will lead a cross-functional team in developing and executing a comprehensive strategy for all phases of site development.
- Establish capacity to meet current and future production demands.
- Manage large project budget and ensure timely and cost-effective completion.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with government and customer stakeholders.
- Secure external funding to support key elements of manufacturing ramp up.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead planning and design to ensure operational requirements are met.
- Oversee construction phase to ensure timely completion.
- Maintain alignment with contractual, regulatory, and customer expectations.
- Manage day-to-day operations to meet production targets and quality standards.
- Foster culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
