Location: Walton, KY
Shift: Mon-Fri, 7am-3:30pm
What you will do:
- Assist our wide range of clients with the needs and demands of their supply chains
- Ensure acceptable levels of performance in assigned business unit by meeting or exceeding
- productivity standards and cost control management
- Work with customer, client services, and inventory teams on daily inventory management as well as maintaining a constant flow of inbound product
- Will process several large data sets at once to determine the best possible slotting for inbound and existing SKUs
- Create/Maintain/Implement inventory plans over the span of several weeks
- Ensure exceptional customer service by meeting key performance indicators (order fill rate accuracy, unannounced inspections, inventory accuracy, etc.) for assigned area of responsibility
- Achieve performance goals through KPI monitoring, promote LEAN principles, and process improvement
- Lead and maintain a clean, professional, and safe work environment. Meet or exceed SCLS corporate safety goals
- Effectively communicate goals, expectations, areas for improvement, and successes to associates
- Potential to build a team of hourly associates and coach, train, and mentor associates allowing them the opportunity to grow and develop
- Conduct annual performance reviews
Our ideal candidate will have…
- 2 years of previous experience in a leadership role with a track record of implementing and managing change
- Listening skills and strong abilities to collaborate, communicate and motivate others to accomplish goals
- Demonstrated success in problem-solving and decision-making to overcome obstacles and maximize opportunities
- Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment while focusing on exceeding operational goals
- Strong organization and multi-tasking skills, agility, and ability to be cross-trained to do more where needed
- High school diploma/GED required
It’s not required, but it would be even better if you have…
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement training and experience
- Supply chain/logistics experience is a plus but not required
- Technical savvy (intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based and job-specific software applications
