Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team and play a key role in the growth and development of our organization. The HR Manager will oversee all HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, compliance, benefits administration, and performance management. This role is essential to maintaining a positive and productive work environment, supporting our staff, and ensuring that Safe & Secure Healthcare remains compliant with all relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the Human Resources department, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.
- Manage recruitment efforts, including posting job openings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and ensuring the timely hiring of qualified candidates.
- Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures that align with company goals and ensure legal compliance.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including healthcare, dental, vision, retirement plans, and paid time off.
- Advise managers and supervisors on employee performance issues, provide guidance on disciplinary actions, and help resolve conflicts.
- Manage the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they are integrated into the company culture and have the tools to succeed.
- Ensure all employee records are accurate, confidential, and in compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Support and lead employee engagement initiatives, creating a positive workplace culture and fostering strong employee morale.
- Stay informed about local, state, and federal labor laws and regulations, ensuring the company remains in compliance.
- Conduct performance reviews and work with managers to develop action plans for employee growth and development.
- Handle employee relations matters, including grievances, complaints, and disciplinary actions, ensuring fair treatment for all staff.
- Prepare and maintain HR reports for management, analyzing trends and making recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar role, preferably in the healthcare or home care industry.
- Strong knowledge of HR functions, including recruiting, benefits administration, performance management, and employee relations.
- In-depth understanding of labor laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and conflict resolution skills.
- High level of discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
