Job Summary
Provides indirect support to Safety’s customers, the independent insurance agents and their insureds, and provides direct support to the Premium Accounting team related to payments and bill accounts
Duties:
- Responsible for review and analysis of potential refunds to insureds, EFT maintenance, premium financing documentation, returned payments, claim draft disbursements, MAIP adjustments, and other related functions as assigned.
- Researches payment issues such as missing or misapplied payments.
- Provides support to Billing Analysts as needed or required.
- Always extends excellent service to internal and external customers.
- Performs other duties and/or projects as needed or required.
Qualifications:
- College degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a billing and/or customer service environment is preferred.
- Insurance industry experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
