Shipping associate

POSITION TITLE : Shipping & Customer Pick-Up Associate POSITION SUMMARY : This associate will be assisting in the shipping department, customer pick-up, and returns department.

This position requires using forklifts, pallet jacks, carts, and racking. Heavy lifting and maneuvering will be required for this position.

This associate will be the point of contact for customer pickups. This associate will receive, sort, warehouse, and disposition customer returns. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :

• Organizes and completes all daily orders for customer pick-ups.
• Pull / Push carts of product from the warehouse floor for staging.
• Uses hands or equipment in the movement of garage doors, hardware, or related products.
• Lifts, stacks, and packs overhead garage doors, track, hardware, openers, and / or assemblies.
• Completes daily UPS orders and processes shipments as needed.
• Process all returns and paperwork to all departments.
• Works in the internal software to process orders daily.
• Help maintain a neat and orderly dock area.
• Uses hands or equipment to move garage doors, hardware, or related products.
• Load verified doors, sections, products, and miscellaneous products by hand in a semi-trailer as shipment load list.
• Lifts, stacks, and packs overhead garage doors, track, hardware, openers, and / or assemblies.
• Secure all loads by shimming the product with foam or placing load bars or poles.
• Must know Alphabet and Numbers.
• Maintain a neat and orderly dock and warehouse area.
• Use safe lifting, loading, and operating techniques.

WORK ENVIRONMENT : Work is performed in a fast-paced office setting with frequent interruptions. Duties may require sitting for long periods of time.
