What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping Associate position at Winnebago Industries?
Working as a member of the Shipping Team, the Yard Dog Driver is responsible for moving loaded and unloaded throughout the facilities while following all safety policies and procedures and checking over the load before it leaves the building and that entails checking the pins/keys and straps and when there is down time between loads help the ground crew load.

Job Responsibilities
- Operate a yard dog in a safe manner
- Moving trailers loaded/unloaded throughout the facilities
- Check the load before it leaves the building
- Place trailers in proper areas and maintain organization
- Perform daily safety checks and basic preventative maintenance on the yard dog
- Ability to respond quickly to numerous requests in a fast-paced work environment
- Assignments given by supervisor as required
- Supports a Barletta Safe culture by adhering to and advocating for the safest behaviors and proactively identifies opportunities to mitigate job-related risks and hazards.
- Must have at least 5 years of proven experience driving a Yard Dog
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, push & pull for 8 hours and lift upward of 50 lbs
- Ability to adapt to climate, inside and outside
- Must display good verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to follow policies and procedures and wear required PPE
- Must be able to multi-task while remaining calm under pressure
- Ability to work hours as required by management
