Description
SAIC is seeking a Security Specialist to provide programmatic support to a program within the Program Executive Office's Space Domain Awareness and Combat Power portfolio at Vandenberg Space Force Base, California.
Fun stuff you will do on the job:
- Perform day-to-day facility management tasks (responsibilities include - escort, maintenance of facility access control entry systems, etc.)
- Develop and administer a document accountability system (responsibilities include - processing inbound and outbound classified mail and receipt records as well as data transfers, classification reviews of inbound and outbound correspondence, destruction of classified materials, processing magnetic media for accountability, etc.)
- Support personnel security processes (responsibilities include - processing visit notices, maintaining personnel security files, process Program Access Requests and Program Security Questionnaires, performing indoctrinations etc.)
- Support the development and execution of the facility Standard Operating Procedures
- Support security compliance inspections and personnel data checks in the Joint Access Database Environment system
Qualifications
This is you:
- Bachelors and five (5) years or more of relevant experience. Additional years of experience will be accepted in lieu of education.
- Possess a Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and willingness to polygraph examination(s)
- Complete DoD SAPCO approved SAPNP training within six months of starting on contract (if performing SAP personnel security functions); JPAS training within six months of starting on contract (if performing SCI personnel security functions); and Joint Access Database Environment (JADE) training within six months of starting on contract (if performing SAP personnel security functions)
- Knowledge in the National Industrial Security Operating Manual (NISPOM) / Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs) with a focus on ICD 705 series, DoD 5205.07 series, Executive Orders, etc.
