Description

SAIC is currently searching for a talented and eager Security Systems Technician to join our team and help support NSA Crane. In this position, the employee will work closely with other Technicians as well as directly with the customer.

Duties include

• Perform installation of systems, troubleshooting and repair, and locking systems upgrades aboard Army facilities, Navy facilities (3,000 buildings at NSA Crane) and ships, when required.
• Disassemble mechanical or electrical locking devices, and repair or replace worn tumblers, springs, and other parts, using hand tools.
• Changing combinations.
• Cutting keys.
• Open safe locks by drilling.
• Install door hardware, such as locks and closers.
• Repair and adjust safes, vault doors, and vault components, using hand tools.
• Install alarm and electronic access systems.
• Unlock cars and other vehicles.
  
  

Qualifications

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND CLEARANCE

• Bachelors degree and two years experience; additional years of experience in lieu of degree will be accepted.
• Employee will be required to participate in extensive training specific to the DON and Army.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Interim secret clearance required to start with the ability to obtain a Top-Secret Security Clearance SCI
