Description
SAIC is seeking a Ubiquitous Surveillance Threat Analyst to work with a diverse team of operations officers, analysts, and linguists, focused on identifying, analyzing and mitigating the threat to operations posed by Ubiquitous Technical Surveillance (UTS).
Role and Responsibilities :
- Serve as a Ubiquitous Surveillance Threat Analyst and technical subject matter expert on emerging UTS technologies.
- Responsible for responding to high-priority, high-visibility, and time-sensitive customer requirements requiring critical thinking and complex problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrate proficiency integrating technical requirements, analytical tradecraft, and operational risk management techniques to assess technical threats to sensitive activities, and intelligence operations.
- Identify and analyze UTS capability gaps in specific environments and scenarios and research applicable mitigation strategies and best practices.
- Monitor the overall UTS program to ensure its applicability and effectiveness for near- and long-term operations, taking into consideration the impact of various factors including emerging technology, adversary capabilities and evolving operational requirements.
- Develop and provide written technical threat assessments; prepare tailored reports based on customer requirements, provide briefings to educate and train personnel, and assist in the development of operational frameworks and structured guidance.
- Collaborate with senior staff within the IC, OSD, Military Services, Combatant Commands, and other Non-DOD Federal Departments and Agencies on best practices and mitigation strategies.
- Serve as a liaison and represent the customer to multiple other US Government organizations at high level working groups, training exercises, and similar forums.
- Daily duties performed in an office setting, with travel required throughout the DC-metro area and occasional travel CONUS and OCONUS to support field operations.
Qualifications
UTS Threat Mitigation, Computer Programming, Technical Threat Analysis, Data Analytics, Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) processing and Analysis, Internet / Web Technology, Technical Targeting, Network Security and Engineering, Social Network Analysis, Telecommunications Networks / Voice Data Communications, Operational Risk Management, Threat Finance Analysis, Open-Source Intelligence and / or Computer Forensics.
