SAIC is looking for a Word Processor to support a Navy contracted located in N. Charleston, SC.
Job Duties :
Candidate will procure goods and administer purchase orders of high dollar value, risk, and complexity and will report to the Procurement Manager. This individual must be able to work in a high-paced, team environment and must be organized and detail-oriented.
Issue purchase orders for goods and services supporting SAIC’s customer
Closeout for all procurement related activities and supplier customer management
Issues Requests for Quote in accordance with prime contract requirements
Candidate will procure goods and administer purchase orders of high dollar value, risk, and complexity and will report to the Procurement Manager.
Responsibilities include the development and negotiation of favorable prices, terms, schedules and other provisions of purchase orders and acquisition contracts, ensuring consistency with program needs
Must be attentive to detail, extremely well organized, strong time management skills, able to work under pressure, adapt quickly, and meet frequent deadlines.
Provides backup support
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience :
- High school degree required
Required Security Clearance :
Required Skills :
Two (2) years of progressive experience in computer systems operations.
One (1) year of practical experience in data entry and formatting via common productivity tools such as the
Microsoft Office Suite. Experience may be achieved simultaneously.
Must be attentive to detail, extremely well organized, strong time management skills, able to work under pressure, adapt quickly, and meet frequent deadlines.
Strong research skills.
Ability to work well within a team and communicate well both orally and written.
Provides backup support
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
