Job Overview
The Administrative Assistant assists the program in managing the flow of information and verbal and written communication. The Administrative Assistant ensures that the office has the necessary supplies, as well as assists workers and supervisors in the overall functions of the program.
Responsibilities
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for assist with assigning cases to CFTSS Service Providers (major responsibility) and providing general secretarial duties, including Photocopying, scanning, and faxing, Maintenance of schedules. Notification of due dates, Compilation of statistics and due dates, Ordering and organizing of supplies, Filing, answering the telephone, preparing minutes, maintaining expense reports, correspondence. The Administrative Assistant must comply with New York State Office of Mental Health Guidance Documents standard and produce paperwork and reports as required for city, state and agency accountability in a timely manner. Special assignments in the preparation of reports, evaluations, and the securing of information as requested.
