What are the responsibilities and job description for the Critical Care Unit Clerk position at Samaritan Health?
Pay Range: $16.45 - $25.50
The base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity and contracts.
- Secretarial/clerical courses preferred. Unit Clerk experience preferred.
- Accurate spelling required.
- Medical terminology and abbreviations.
- Keyboarding and computer skills.
- Good interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
- Must demonstrate ability to effectively communicate with all age groups.
- Must be able to keep calm under stress.
- BLS certification required or obtained within 3 months. Lethal dysrhythmia course within 6 months.
Minimum Education Requirement -
High school level of knowledge necessary to read physicians' orders and transcribe them correctly.
