What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurse Manager position at Samaritan Health?
Bachelor’s Degree in a healthcare and/or social services related field required, Master’s degree preferred. Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience and a minimum of 3 years experience as a behavioral health clinician. Proven, successfully developed skills in human services, crisis intervention. Knowledge of regulatory requirements and issues related to compliance; ability to address issues with governing entities, NYS OMH, DSS and OASAS. Well developed critical thinking skills. Knowledge and understanding of medical terminology. Ability to communicate effectively with medical professionals of all disciplines. Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Multi-tasking and task management essential. Basic computer knowledge.
