Research Institute
Job Summary
Provides assistance with financial related activities of the Research Institute. Performs administrative activities related to business and finance operations. Using individual clinical trial templates, enters and tracks budgeted research activities and patient visits into the Clinical Trial Management Software (CTMS). Sends invoices and processes payments related to research services ensuring accountability, both, in the CTMS system and the health care system. Communicates with vendors, sponsors, physicians, and patients regarding research related financials and collects timely payments from contracted parties, as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Require a minimum of three (3) years of related healthcare, finance, or data-related experience. An Bachelor's or higher level degree can be considered in lieu of experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prefer superb organizational skills.
- Prefer effective customer service skills.
- Prefer experience with clinical trial management software, as well as, prior experience in clinical research (industry/pharmaceutical and/or federal grants), billing compliance, research contract management, billing, coding, or revenue recognition/integrity.
- Prefer general knowledge of ICD -10 and CPT coding.
- Prefer demonstrated computer proficiency with Microsoft Office programs and other commonly used applications.
- Prefer experience with customer interaction requiring payout, invoicing, or collection of payment.
