Sauder’s Eggs is looking for a Line Leader for our 2nd shift Ready-To-Eat production team at the Lancaster – Greenfield Plant Location, Spanish Bilingual desired.
This role helps the 2nd Shift processing and packaging operations to ensure quality, safety and production goals. Previous food manufacturing experience is preferred. This position has opportunities for overtime, personal development and future roles of increasing responsibility.
Work Schedule;
Days - Monday to Friday
Hours - 2:30 pm to 11:30 pm
Occasional Saturdays during peak season
Responsibilities
- Monitor the production level throughout the shift to maintain a balance between quantity and quality
- Follow production schedule to insure all orders are completed
- Communicate order changes to packing line and machine operators
- Examines and inspects containers, materials, and products to ensure that packing/quality specifications are met
- Complies with all safety policies and procedures
- Maintains clean work area
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must have good communication and people skills
- Must have basic computer skills and math skills
- Must be able to stand for length of shift and lift 30-40 pounds
- Must wear steel-toed boots and follow good manufacturing procedures
- Bilingual is a plus
