Role Description
This is a part-time (as needed) hybrid remote role for a Law Enforcement or Corrections Consultant based in Florida. The Law Enforcement or Corrections Consultant will be responsible for providing expert law enforcement or corrections advice and assistance to law enforcement and correctional agencies. The Consultant must have experience in Florida Accreditation Assessments from CFA, CFAC, or CALEA and be a certified assessor. The Consultant may also provide expert advice to agencies on Organizational Leadership Assessments and Feasibility Studies. The Consultant will also work closely with clients to develop tailored solutions for their specific needs.
Travel will be required and paid for by Savage Recon.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Law Enforcement, Corrections, and understanding of Legal Issues
- Experience in Conducting Law Enforcement or Corrections Accreditation Assessments
- Must be a certified Accreditation Assessor
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong Organizational Leadership Experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Attained a Command Level position in a Florida Law Enforcement or Correctional Agency
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Criminal Justice, or related field (preferred)
- Must successfully pass a background investigation
