Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership:
- Manage and mentor a 3-person AP team based overseas in India.
- Provide regular direction, training, and performance feedback.
- Process Ownership & Improvement:
- Lead the end-to-end AP
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable, efficient AP processes and internal controls.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies, inefficiencies, and compliance issues.
- Systems & Reporting:
- Oversee the use of QuickBooks and Blue Cherry to ensure accurate financial data and reporting.
- Use advanced Excel skills to manage large datasets, generate reports, and provide analytical insights to support financial planning.
- Vendor and Payment Management:
- Manage domestic and international vendor relationships.
- Ensure timely processing of invoices, credit memos, and payment disbursements.
- Coordinate with purchasing and receiving teams to resolve invoice discrepancies.
- Compliance & Documentation:
- Maintain organized records for audit purposes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, tax requirements, and international regulations.
- 5 years of Accounts Payable experience, with at least 2 years in a management role.
- Experience working in the wholesale industry and with international vendors is required.
- Strong knowledge of QuickBooks, Blue Cherry, and Excel (including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, data validation, etc.).
- Demonstrated success leading a remote or overseas team.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in fashion/apparel industry.
- Familiarity with import/export documentation and international payment processes.
Salary : $90,000 - $120,000
