This position will be an integral part of the North America leadership team and be responsible for all marketing activities across the brands North America business. This person will develop and deliver best-in-class marketing strategies that grow brand awareness, engage local communities, acquire new customers, deepen loyalty with existing, and deliver on the brand and business goals for the region.
The ideal candidate must be able to successfully lead across functions and global/regional teams, working closely with Paris HQ to bring to life customized strategies for the U.S. and Canada. He or she will combine vision and strategy with deep understanding of marketing fundamentals and analytics, alongside strong people management skills to build innovative, full-funnel, cross-channel marketing plans that inspire and connect with target customers.

Responsibilities
- Lead the vision and strategy for North America marketing, working closely with merchandising, e-commerce, retail & wholesale teams to build annual and seasonal marketing calendars that deliver on both brand & business goals.
- Develop and execute full-funnel integrated campaigns that amplify the key global stories and support regional needs, driving both DTC & wholesale channels and deliver on top and bottom line results.
- Own the regional customer strategy & insights, ensuring regional needs are built into the global strategy & plans through regular surveys, focus groups, etc.
- Lead the brand awareness strategy in North America, ensuring the brand is coming to life in the right way on owned channels like the brands .com and in-stores; working cross-functionally to develop the omni-channel vision for NA. Specifically, be responsible for vision & strategy across press, influencer, partnerships, local content, etc.
- Lead the retail marketing strategy for the brands 45 points of sale across U.S. and Canada: develop robust events calendar, with a focus on free standing boutiques; ensure consistent drive-to-store marketing initiatives to boost traffic; develop launch strategies for new store openings with a focus on local partnerships & community-building tactics.
- Collaborate closely with wholesale partners to ensure strong co-op marketing strategies, track wholesale marketing budget & analyze performance.
- Lead the direct mail strategy for North America, from prospecting models for customer acquisition to full project management of creative design, execution, printing to post-drop analysis & reporting in partnership with Paris HQ.
- Oversee the regional marketing budget, setting spend allocation for the year & upcoming years; measure & report on initiative performance, optimize for future budget planning.
- Manage a team of 2; nurture & develop team with clear, strategic goals and deliverables across channels.
- Proven experienced senior marketer in brand strategy, marketing planning, communications & content, retail marketing, direct mail strategy – within fashion & lifestyle ideally.
- Proven track record growing emerging brands and/or exceeding key business targets for established brands.
- Digital-first mindset with experience testing new, innovative marketing techniques & channels – DTC marketing experience a plus.
- Experience with stores & events.
- Deep consumer understanding, including how to build actional consumer targets & work across the funnel to bring in new customers & drive loyalty with exiting.
- Experience partnering with external agencies, including agency selection, briefing & management.
- Strong people manager, experienced in building a highly engaged team and ensuring a collaborative, supportive culture.
- Ability to be a role model on all things DEI & well-being.
- Experience managing 7-figure marketing budgets and working directly with finance teams to track & optimize; strong understanding of excel.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively present to & influencer executive team & board level members.
- Ability to work at strategic and tactical levels and be a hands-on team player where no task is too small.
- A self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit.
- Ability to work within tight deadlines, adjust to changes in priorities and balance short-term needs with long-term strategic initiatives.
Salary : $180,000 - $240,000
