Responsibilities:
- New Style Development/Tech Packs
- Development of Existing Styles with New Suppliers
- Analyze and Improve Existing Products
- Track, receive and send all samples, reference garments and paper patterns
- Schedule and Lead all Fit Sessions
- Pattern Corrections and Fit Comments
- Graded Spec Approvals
- TOP Sample Review to ensure that specs are in-tolerance, and review that construction is correct and up to quality standard
- Advise solutions based on QC/QA reports for fit, tolerances, and garment construction
- Advise solutions to costing conversations
- Research and review new garment construction methods
- Daily communication with vendors
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education/experience.
- 5 years of Technical Design experience in apparel with experience in sportswear
- Expert knowledge and skill in commercial fit and pattern standards, corrections, grading, construction manufacturing methods, sewing, fabric, quality standards and garment development.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and exceptional ability to identify, improve and create processes.
- Kind, hard-working individual with the ability to build strong personal relationships with our vendors.
- Strong communication skills.
- Expert analytical and decision-making skills.
