Your Key Responsibilities
- Conduct mechanical design engineering activities required to develop competitive products.
- Develop the structure of the mechanical system from the architecture and consider the measures from the risk analysis in the construction.
- Break down structures into subsystems and components and create a detailed product specification.
- Check whether existing subsystems and components can be reused.
- Develop alternative structures and select the one that is most suitable.
- Ensure double-sided traceability with the mechanical architecture and provide work results under a configuration management (material designation, versioning, storage location, etc.).
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering related field and one (1) year of applicable experience.
- Knowledge of the Product Development Process.
- Applicable engineering & physics knowledge.
- Communication ability (written & verbal).
- Customer focused.
- Continuous improvement approach.
- Ability to prioritize and make decisions.
- Automotive knowledge or background.
- Salary range: $75,000 - $120,000
- Hiring Bonus: $500 after 90 days, $1000 after 180 days
- Hybrid work schedule
- 6% 401(k) company match
