Your Key Responsibilities
- Communicate all the technical deliverables for an electric motor project from the customer to the Schaeffler team, and subsequently report back the results to the customer.
- Coordinate tasks between the Analysis, Design, and Testing groups.
- Facilitate brainstorm / problem sessions with the Schaeffler teams.
- Ensure the execution of deliverables meets the timing and cost set by project management.
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering and 5 or more years of practical experience or a Masters degree in engineering and 2 or more years of practical experience.
- Experience in presenting engineering topics and moderating discussions.
- Experience in solving engineering problems.
- Applicable engineering & physics knowledge.
- Understanding of vehicle powertrain architectures and components.
- Basic understanding of electric machines and controls of hydraulics and heat transfer.
- Communication ability (written & verbal).
- Ability to prioritize and make decisions.
- Salary range: $75,000 - $120,000
- Hybrid work schedule
- Hiring Bonus: $500 after 90 days, $1000 after 180 days
- 6% 401(k) company match
