The IT Security Administrator will join our team of experienced information system associates and be responsible for design, implementation, and maintenance of the IT Security Infrastructure.
Responsibilities
Customer Service
Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation
Sedentary work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Overview
The IT Security Administrator will join our team of experienced information system associates and be responsible for design, implementation, and maintenance of the IT Security Infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Monitor IT environment for security threats
- Respond to and investigate security incidents
- Verify and assist with security patching
- Assist with integration of security solutions in new and existing applications and systems
- Stay up to date with emerging security threats and vulnerabilities
- Communicate, coordinate and remediate threats in various locations across the organization
- Monitor cloud assets for exposed information, unauthorized access and other threats
- Experience with Vulnerability scanning tools
- Firewall, XDR, and or Antivirus management experience
- Basic knowledge of networking and server/endpoint administration
- Experience with scripting languages such as bash, Python, and/or YAML
- The ability to effectively communicate technical information in a concise way to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to perform basic web-application and network security tests
