What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Quality Specialist position at Schenck USA Corp?
Supports Production Services by ensuring conformity to customer requirements including inspection, calibration, preventative maintenance and applicable certifications in an ISO 9001 environment.
POSITION DUTIES:
- Interfaces directly with customer procurement and quality personnel to ensure company’s compliance with customer requirements.
- Controls/maintains calibration system.
- Controls/maintains customer non-conforming products.
- Reviews test-related documents for compliance with quality requirements.
- Ensures tests/inspections are properly performed and subsequent inspection documents are filed
- Must be aware of all applicable operating policies and procedures in Quality Management System Manual.
- Ensures preventative maintenance on all spin tooling equipment.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
- HS diploma or equivalent.
- 3 years of experience in a Quality position.
- Experience with ISO 9001 process (audits, non-conformances).
- Experience in preparation of first article inspection.
- Experience with sampling procedures and visual inspection requirements.
- In depth knowledge of mechanical inspection equipment and practices.
- Ability to read drawings with strong knowledge of ANSI Y14.5 and GD&T.
- CMM programming experience (preferably Zeiss).
- Experience with PPAP/FMEA/CPK.
- Computer literate.
- Strong math, mechanical and communication skills.
- Must be U.S. Citizen.
- Must show proof of COVID vaccination.
