What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler position at Schenck USA Corp?
Supports the safe and efficient operations of production warehouse in an AS9001 environment.
POSITION DUTIES:
- Perform all shipping and receiving duties as required.
- Utilize online shipping manifest system with FedEX and UPS.
- Prepare proper documentation including packing slips, bills of lading and customer paperwork.
- Assist with inventory control and recordkeeping.
- Deliver parts to local vendors using company vehicle.
- Perform general warehouse duties and other tasks as assigned.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
- HS diploma or equivalent.
- Clean/valid drivers’ license.
- 1-3 years of experience in shipping/receiving or material handling.
- UPS/FedEX online shipping, including basic international shipping experience.
- Able to use forklift, pallet jack, overhead crane.
- Computer literate.
- Able to meet deadlines and perform well under pressure.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must submit to alcohol/drug test and eye exam.
- Must be U.S. Citizen.
- Must show proof of COVID vaccination.
