What the Ideal Candidate will do:
The Repair Technician will provide customer service and technical support for tooling products by performing the following duties:
- Perform tooling repairs, upgrade, and recommend corrective actions.
- Inspect, release, and calibrate tools for quality assurance.
- Communicate with team members to ensure effective service and provide technical support to customers.
- Troubleshoot, analyze performance issues.
- Recommend design or process improvements to address recurring technical issues.
- Support other departments as needed.
- High school diploma (or equivalent); vocational/technical school training preferred.
- Minimum of 1-3 years' experience in automotive or machine tool repair (i.e. CNC machines); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be able to read and understand mechanical blueprints and/or drawings.
- Must have experience with power tools, hand tools, and precision measuring tools such as dial indicator, depth gauge, calipers, and torque wrench.
- Must possess strong communication, math, and computer skills.
- Travel up to 10% of the time, sometimes internationally.
