As an Orthodontic Coordinator at our office, your main responsibility will be to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the orthodontic department. You will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring a positive experience for our orthodontic patients. Your primary goal will be to coordinate and manage the orthodontic treatment process, from initial consultation to the completion of treatment. By effectively communicating with patients, parents, and the orthodontic team, you will contribute to the overall success of our orthodontic practice.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a dental or orthodontic office.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Patterson Eaglesoft
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification as an Orthodontic Assistant
- Knowledge of dental insurance and billing procedures.
- Experience with digital orthodontic records and imaging systems.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage the orthodontic treatment process, including scheduling appointments, obtaining necessary records, billing/insurance, and ensuring timely completion of treatment.
- Educate patients and parents on orthodontic treatment options, procedures, and financial arrangements.
- When needed, assist the orthodontist during patient procedures, ensuring a comfortable and efficient experience.
- Maintain and organize patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and correspondence.
