Position Purpose
The payroll specialist role will partner with hotel management to ensure accurate and timely processing of bi-weekly payroll for multiple locations.
Job Duties And Responsibilities
This position is responsible for processing bi-weekly payrolls, payroll analytics, supporting ADP in multi-state tax filing, partnering with hotel teams to ensure accuracy of employee pay and benefits, preparing periodic management reports and assisting employees and managers regarding questions related to payroll and benefits.
The payroll specialist is also responsible for data entry into an HRIS system, uploading documents to employee personnel files, employee wage changes and other personnel items.
Education And Experience
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Some college preferred
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
- Experience with large payroll systems, ADP Vantage preferred.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint Possess the ability to effectively communicate ideas and procedures either verbally or written
- Accounting background helpful
- Experience with multi-jurisdiction payrolls and associated tax issues
- Ability to prioritize, organize and handle multiple assignments, using independent judgment to accomplish tasks
- Ability to communicate and handle confidential information continues to grow through our commitment to our Associates, Guests, Investors and Community
