What are the responsibilities and job description for the Desk Attendant (Member Service Associate) position at Schultz Campus of Akron?
The Shaw JCC is a community center located in Akron that offers fitness, aquatics, and childcare all within the Schultz Campus. We are looking for a part-time desk attendant who will have flexible availability with mornings, afternoons, evenings and some weekends. Hours will be up to 29 per pay period and could increase in the summer. This position works in multiple locations: front entrance desk, fitness desk entrance and pool gate (summer only).
The desk attendant is responsible for welcoming members and guests professionally and courteously upon entry to the Shaw JCC. This position provides various administrative and clerical duties to support the operations of the organization. Customer Service is key! The desk attendant will eagerly assist members and customers in person or on the telephone regarding programs and services in a professional and polite manner.
Requirements:- Customer service experience is a plus.

Education

- Must be a minimum of 18 years or older
