Position Title: Collision Center Estimator
Location: Northlake

Schumacher Automotive Group in North Palm Beach (Northlake) is seeking a Collision Center Estimator responsible for appraising vehicle damage to determine cost of repairs for insurance claim settlements while delivering the best experience to our customers.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Examines damaged vehicle to determine extent of structural, body, mechanical or interior damage.
- Estimates cost of labor and parts to repair or replace each damaged item.
- Reviews repair cost estimates with body shop technician.
- Determines feasibility of repair versus replacement of parts, such as bumpers, fenders, and doors.
- Evaluates practicality of repair as opposed to payment of vehicle market value before accident with customer and insurance carrier.
- Determines salvage value on total vehicle loss.
- Prepares insurance forms to indicate repair cost estimates and recommendations.
- Estimates cost of repainting, converting to special purposes, or customizing undamaged vehicles.
- Keeps customer up to date and informed during repair process.
- Familiar with CCC One estimating systems.
- Other tasks as assigned by Management.
Education/Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an estimator.
- CCC One estimating systems strongly preferred.
- I Car certification strongly preferred
- Must have reliable transportation within the West Palm Beach area
- Positive attitude.
- Strong work ethic.
- A valid driver's license.
