Seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead infrastructure development across deployment, observability, and CI/CD systems. This is a high-impact role responsible for scaling technical operations from the ground up in a fast-paced, AI-driven environment. You will work closely with engineering leadership and be fully onsite in San Francisco.
Core Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable Kubernetes infrastructure for both single- and multi-tenant deployments
- Build observability stacks—monitoring, alerting, and log aggregation
- Create CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment workflows
- Lead incident management and improve infrastructure reliability metrics
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineers, AI researchers, and leadership
Job requirements
MUST HAVES:
- 5 years of DevOps experience, including at least one senior-level position
- Demonstrated experience building infrastructure from scratch at a startup
- Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and observability tools
- Proficient in JavaScript or similar programming languages
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure and/or GCP preferred)
- Computer Science or Engineering degree - Bachelor’s
- High ownership mentality with strong execution capabilities
- Ability to work full-time onsite in San Francisco
NICE-TO-HAVES:
- Experience in B2B SaaS or contract-heavy technology companies
- Familiarity with LLMs or machine learning infrastructure
- Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., Pulumi)
- Background in scaling single-tenant infrastructure for enterprise use
Salary : $170 - $260
