Role Overview: As a Host/Hostess at Blackstone Steakhouse, you will be the first point of contact for our guests. Your role is essential in setting the tone for their dining experience by warmly welcoming them, efficiently managing seating arrangements, and ensuring a smooth flow throughout their visit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests with a friendly and professional demeanor upon arrival.
- Manage reservations and efficiently handle the waitlist during busy times.
- Escort guests to their tables and ensure they are comfortably seated.
- Provide accurate wait times and communicate effectively with both guests and staff.
- Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area, including the host stand and waiting area.
- Assist with special guest requests and provide information about our menu and restaurant.
- Collaborate with servers and other team members to ensure excellent guest service.
- Address and resolve guest concerns or complaints with professionalism and empathy.
- Uphold the high standards of service and hospitality that Blackstone Steakhouse is known for.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role is a plus, but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
