Job Summary:
This position will help support Manufacturing Operations and Finance by preparing and analyzing monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting. Analyst will provide support in tracking project performance, analyzing changes in company costs, and provide guidance to site management related to financial results and KPI’s.
Responsibilities:
- Support the development of reporting/analysis specific to each manufacturing plant.
- Work with each plant manager to support their initiatives and close any gaps.
- Prepare consolidated site analysis for both Ops & Finance management.
- Support the month end close process using account review, analysis and journal entries.
- Perform detailed financial analysis, including variance explanations of actual versus budget, prior year and forecast.
- Prepare monthly analysis of product and value stream profitability using data warehouse software. Continually review methodology to improve and enhance results.
- Assist in the identification of risks and opportunities throughout the site with estimated financial impact.
- Assist in the preparation, analysis and reporting of the annual budget, rolling forecasts, and month end business review.
- Identify and streamline reporting.
- Prepare ad hoc analysis as needed
- All other duties as required
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance with a background in Cost Accounting
- At least 18 years of age
- Previous experience working with Oracle or SAP highly preferred
- Ability to prepare accurate and timely financial information to various management within established deadlines.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment, within tight deadlines and to organize workload to meet the department’s needs.
- Actively participate in process improvements
- Must possess the ability to determine reasonableness of output and analyze data from different perspectives
- Maintains effective working relations with coworkers through active support of Koozie Group’s People Powers, Vision and Goals and adhering to all company policies and procedures
- Ability to work independently
- Microsoft Excel a must, in which they can perform V-look up’s, linking spreadsheets, pivot tables and create and use functions/formula.
- Database management and organization of large volumes of data is a must
- Knowledge of SQL statements and Report Writing skills, a plus
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task, sometimes alternating between a few projects within the same day or week
- Strong communication skills
- Strong written skills and presentation abilities to properly discuss financial results.
