Grass Skirt and Captain's Quarters in Pacific Beach is looking for a fun, responsible, and dedicated hospitality professional! $22-$28/Hr
The Guest Experience/Dining Room Manager is ultimately responsible for overseeing all aspects of service: guest arrival, seating, service, and departure - along with staff training and honing operational procedures.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Professionally and effectively communicate with guests and team members to ensure guest satisfaction..
- Maintain guest relationships to promote repeat business.
- Implement quick and efficient decisions based on guest and/or restaurant needs.
- Uses business savvy skills to maximize seating space and increase revenue based on seating all guests, walk ins and large parties.
- Awareness of all team member needs, guests’ needs, reservation needs and restaurant needs at all times.
- Attend and participate in weekly leadership meetings.
- Support the General Manager in the implementing and/or following of department procedures.
- Lead by example.
- Coach and mentor individual team members to develop their skills and maximize performance.
- Ensure appearance of team members is according to company grooming standards.
