Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring they feel comfortable and valued.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using Yelp and Toast systems or other designated platforms.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while adhering to food safety standards.
- Assist with food preparation and presentation as needed to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Buss tables efficiently, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for the next guests.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items, including specials and pairings.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly, demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely order delivery and quality control.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including dining areas and service stations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with Toast or similar reservation systems is a plus.
- Strong understanding of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed in a restaurant setting.
