What are the responsibilities and job description for the 1-1 Teaching Assistant (early elementary) position at Seacoast Charter School?
We are currently seeking a 1:1 teaching assistant to support the instruction, direct supervision and behavioral management (in the classroom and other areas as required) of an individual student in the early elementary grades. The position will work under the direction of the special education teacher, regular education teacher, and related service providers.
Seacoast Charter School is a preK-8 art integration school looking for fun, creative people that enjoy being around kids! We prefer at least one year of experience working with children, assistant/ paraprofessional experience and/or experience with neurodiversity. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a profound impact on a child's education and development.
Our starting pay for assistants is $16.82 per hour. Benefits are: paid time off for your first year, paid snow days, and 3 paid holidays. After 2 years of employment, you'd be eligible for a stipend for health/dental insurance.
