Accountant II, Finance

This role focuses on Tax compliance for multiple Seattle Children’s entities and fundraising Guilds, specifically handling preparation of Forms 990, Community Benefit reporting, registrations and other filings, Guild Association bookkeeping and tracking, and preparation of Guild 1099s and other returns. The person in this position will be cross-trained in various areas and will support other tasks as needed. Additionally, this role will assist with special projects as directed by their supervisor. Required Education/Experience: - Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or commensurate experience. - Minimum two (2) years of experience. Preferred: - Nonprofit organization experience. - Healthcare experience. - Public accounting experience. - Experience with accounting overseen by this position. - Experience with large accounting systems (i.e., Lawson). - CPA. Compensation Range $71,578.00 - $107,366.00 per year Salary Information This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
