What are the responsibilities and job description for the Research Manager position at Seattle Children's Hospital?

Works closely with the Research Institute leadership to establish management systems and develop strategies that will benefit the institutes' scientific programs. This person acts as a strategic partner, working closely with the Institute's leadership team and program directors to ensure integration of projects within a program strategy framework. Supports activities needed to secure funding opportunities and monitor progress towards Institute and programmatic goals. Required Education and Experience Bachelors Degree in a related field. Minimum five (5) years of research-related experience including at least two (2) years of project/program management. Minimum two (2) years of supervisory experience. Proven success managing and integrating multiple projects across an organization. Experience in grant writing. Required Credentials N/A. Preferred Master’s degree in a related scientific discipline. Supervisory experience/skills. Compensation Range $107,431.00 - $161,147.00 per year Salary Information This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
