What You'll Do
We are currently looking for a full time Accounts Payable specialist in our Human Resources / Payroll department. This position will primarily be responsible for providing day to day support on billings, allocations, remittances and basic Payroll / HR accounting for our primary lines of business.
Duties will include
- Reconcile benefit invoices
- Assemble, review, and submit check requests
- Posting payroll transactions to general ledger
- Create journal entries for online payments
- Preparing and processing online payments
- Posting transactions to journals, ledgers, and other records
- Researching and resolving invoice discrepancies and issues
- Maintaining and corresponding to files with vendors
- Coordination between payroll, benefits and 3 accounting groups
- Workers comp accruals and general liability accruals
Requirements
What We'll Love About You
- At least 2 years of Accounts Payable or related education (HR, accounting)
- Intermediate Excel
- 45 WPM Typing
- Ability to provide exceptional quality customer service via email and over the phone
- A "can do" and "willing" attitude is a must
- Interest in learning benefits and providing basic HR benefits support (a huge plus)
