Seda North America is seeking a Machine Operator- Blanking on 2nd shift to join our Operations team! This position is fully on-site during 2nd shift hours, Monday through Friday 3pm to 11pm. Primary Responsibilities: Daily operation of high-speed production equipment for the manufacture of cups and containers, understanding and supporting total manufacturing flow in support of meeting/exceeding customer’s needs while meeting company standards for quality, efficiency and safety.

Specific Duties:
- To feed machines with roll material to create blanks without deviating from operating standards.
- To work with the operations team, to achieve manufacturing targets.
- Carry out quality checks in line with procedure.
- Keep machine supplied with materials which may require the use of pushcarts or pallet jacks.
- Record and maintain data related to downtime, including reason and actions to correct the problem.
- Identify and report manufacturing problems and initiation of corrective action, if needed.
Qualifications
- Prior High speed machine operating experience; food or packaging industry preferred
- Strong attention to detail, time management and organizational skills
- Positive and enthusiastic with a continuous improvement attitude
- HS Diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or other certification a plus
Physical Demands (Required for Essential Duties & Responsibilities)
- Ability to frequently lift, push and pull up to 50lb weight unassisted
- Must be able to remain on feet standing and walking for 8-hour shift
- Comfortable working in noisy and loud environments
- Wear all required PPE and follow safety practices as instructed
