What are the responsibilities and job description for the Preschool Teacher position at Seedlings & Sprouts Preschool?
We are looking for a preschool teacher to work June and July and start in August the next school year as a permanent member of our school.
We are open year round, Monday through Friday from 7:30 am-5:00 pm.
The shift hours will be a minimum of 6 hours or 8 hours, 5 days a week.
We are looking for a qualified and dedicated preschool teacher, who enjoys working with children 2 to 6 years of age.
The preschool teacher we are seeking has experience in the classroom working with young children. Understands the preschool daily flow, can manage the classroom with clear, soft boundaries and enjoys group/circle time. Can prepare lesson plans or assist the lead teachers in creating fun activities for the month. Understand developmentally appropriate activities and different milestones of young children. Can remain calm because it's just preschool.
Please set up an in person interview and bring with you; college transcripts of Early Childhood Education units (18 or more units), vaccination records, 3 personal references, a resume providing teaching experience of at least 2 years, CPR certification (not mandatory) and ability to work in the USA.
Prior to employment: a fingerprint clearance must occur the process takes 3-8 days (reimbursement after 30 days of employment) and proof of a current negative TB test.
