CNC Machinist
Our Fond du Lac client is seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Machinist to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of CNC machining processes, be proficient in reading blueprints and using measuring instruments, and be able to operate a variety of CNC machines.
Position – CNC Machinist
Job Location – Fond du Lac, WI
Starting Date – ASAP
Employment Term – Temp to hire
Employment Type – Full time
Work Hours (Shift) – 1st shift
Starting Pay – $20 to $25
Benefits – Medical, Vision, Dental, 401(K), Paid Vacation, Paid Holidays, Referral Bonus
Required Education – High School Diploma/GED
Required Experience – At least 2 years of experience running a CNC mill or lathe
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, etc.)
- Program and edit CNC programs using industry-standard software
- Set up and adjust tooling, fixtures, and workholding devices
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CNC Machinist
- Strong knowledge of CNC programming and machine operation
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and using measuring instruments
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
