POSITION – Quality Control Inspector
JOB LOCATION – Woodville, WI
STARTING DATE – Immediately
EMPLOYMENT TERM – Temp to Hire
EMPLOYMENT TYPE – Full-Time
WORK HOURS (SHIFT) – Monday-Thursday 7am-4:30pm and Friday 7am-11am
STARTING PAY – $20/hr DOE
BENEFITS – Medical, Vision, Dental, 401(K), Paid Vacation, Paid Holidays, Referral Bonus
REQUIRED EDUCATION – High School Diploma/GED preferred
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE – 1-2 years of previous quality inspection experience
Job Duties:
- Perform final or in-process inspection for quality, appearance and performance of parts and assemblies.
- Make periodic spot checks and/or final checks of parts.
- Check parts for blemishes, scratches, and dents; compare parts to drawing or specifications.
- Use of precision measuring and testing instruments including calipers, micrometers, digital measuring machine, scale, microscope.
- Complete appropriate documentation per customer requests.
- Keep records as required for the department.
- Ensure timely and documented calibration of all inspection equipment.
- Perform other duties as required or directed.
Requirements:
- One to two years of quality control experience preferred
- Attention to detail and ability to work with a variety of parts and departments
- Good verbal and written communication
- Basic reading and math skills required
