Segrera Associates is actively recruiting for an Senior Controller with a very well-established manufacturing company headquartered in Orlando, FL. The Controller is a high visibility position within the company and will report directly to the Vice President. This is a great opportunity for someone who has worked for manufacturing company who has a versatile background and skillset and business acumen. You will be overseeing and managing the development of their accounting team, analyzing financial data, present financial reports to the executive team and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets, liabilities, revenues, and expenditures.
This role will be fully on-site position. Please note: Candidates must be seated in Orlando, FL
Essential Job Functions
- Accounting oversight for multiple projects; including general ledger activity and job costing for all assets.
- Review of costs incurred to budget and ensuring budgets are timely and accurately prepared and monitored
- Coordinate all audit engagements with external auditors
- Coordinate tax preparation with external accountants
- Lead the operations of the accounting department to include accounts payable, billings & collections, and payroll
- Assist in preparation of year-end audits
- Review, develop, document accounting procedures
- Ensure compliance with GAAP
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or 5 - 7 years of related experience
- Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Manufacturing experience - Preferred
- GAAP knowledge, CPA preferred
- Strong written, verbal and collaboration skills
