What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cloud Automation Engineer position at Selby Jennings?
Selby Jennings has partnered with a well respected IM firm managing $150 billion to find the right Cloud Automation Engineer for their Seattle offices. This position reports to the Director of IT Infastructure, and is critical in building tools to securely automate operations in the firm's cloud infastructure. This role requires technical expertise in cloud automation tools and technologies that are optimal for managing Microsoft Azure and Entra ID environment, with a strong emphasis on Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
You will be responsible for creating and maintaining infastructure as Code using Bicep, develop and implement CI/CD pipelines, automate already established manual processes for deploying Azure, Entra ID, and M365, etc.
Culturally, the firm has a flexible and positive working environment. While the expectation is 5 days a week in office, there is a reasonable amount of accommodation, as the purpose of this role is to expand work hours away from just the East Coast, given the global reach of the organization.
- Computer Science degree is a must
- Strong Tenure (sorry, nothing less than two years at the current role)
- At least four years of professional, noninternship work experience in Infra
- Experience in Bicep, Terraform
- Ideally experience in finance, but not necessary
Base is anywhere between 150k-200k, with a comfortable bonus on top of that.
