A true LMM Generalist Mezzanine/Private Equity focused firm based in the Washington, D.C. region is looking to add on 1-2 Associates to their team in the near term but can be flexible up to Summer 2025 for the right candidate. The ideal fit for this role would have at least 2 years of Investment Banking experience upon start date with the firm and have a desire to live in the Washington, D.C. region. This opportunity would be a career track style role and come with a high quality work life balance in comparison to standard banking hours. Individuals interviewing with this firm will also notice a strong sense of company culture and desire to do business in a positive manner. All in cash compensation for this role would be in the ball park of $140k-$150k and grow in your time with the firm. Candidates who secure this position will have plenty of mentorship opportunities to work with senior leadership as well as participate in many parts of the deal process.

Responsibilities:
- Conducting market research and leading business and industry diligence for prospective investments
- Developing investment memorandum and materials to presenting directly to investment committee
- Complex financial modeling
- Working directly with management teams of portfolio companies post transaction close
- Directly supporting senior members of the team in addition to ad hoc projects
Associate Requirements:
- 2-3 years of Investment Banking experience (ideally with-in M&A or Lev-Fin)
- Bachelor’s degree with strong GPA
- Solid modelling and analytical skills
- Proven ability to handle simultaneous tasks with deadlines
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills
Salary : $140,000 - $150,000
