No Certifications or prior experience is required; however, Certified Nursing Assistants(CNA), Home Health Aides(HHA), and those with In-home caregiver experience are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities
- Companionship and Conversation
- Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside
- Transfer assistance
- Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
- Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
- Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop
- Perform light housekeeping duties
- Medication and appointment reminders
- Monitoring Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care
- Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
Qualifications and skills
- Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and compassionate manner
- Ability to treat and care for clients and property with respect and dignity
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Pass a criminal background check and drug screen prior to employment
- Possess a valid driver's license, valid auto insurance, and dependable transportation
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
